Because the first Sunday in April is Easter and the GFO will be closed, we have changed our Heritage Scrapbooking group to Sunday, April 11th from 3 to 5 p.m. The time change is for the 11th only and is due to another group having the 1 to 3 p.m. time slot on the second Sunday.
Although our planned speaker is not able to make it that day, I have recently acquired a book called "Uncovering Your Ancestry Through Family Photographs" by Maureen Taylor. I'll put together a little program of the first chapter entitled "Bringing the Past to Life"
which shows us why, as genealogists, it is as important for us to compile a visual history of our families as it is written information.
