SUBJECT: COMING EVENTS
MARCH 27th: Doris Cruickshank and Gwen Newborg are going to share helpful resources and ideas they learned when the attended the "British Institute Week in Salt Lake City"
MAY 22nd: Last meeting of the year...possibly a guest bag piper to explain his dress and equipment, list some of the events they play for....and of course, Snacks of our Ancestors. If we can't get a piper, maybe we can persuade our Duane Funk to come up with a topic of interest for May.
ANNUAL FIELD TRIP: Any suggestions would be appreciated....something with a British slant? Some folks had a conflict when we went to Lady Di's in Lake Oswego for the tea lunch special, and said they would like to have attended. That's a possibility. Also, if we could plan something to get us back to Oregon City and do luncheon afterwards at the Highland Still House Pub--great food--Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash, Beef Pasties, etc..that would be nice.
