GFO members: This message is to update members on the search for a new home for the GFO. In December, the relocation committee began working with Charlotte Larson, Senior Associate Broker at Urban Works Real Estate. She identified a wide range of properties to provide a picture of the current market for space meeting our criteria. A total of 17 properties, including several recommended by members, have been reviewed so far. In addition to drive-by reviews of all, four of those have been visited by the committee. A second set of possible properties will be identified in early January, and we will conduct further visits, analyses and comparisons. In addition to the committee, the GFO board will conduct visits to those that appear to meet our criteria most closely. We expect these processes to take place through February. We have received several suggestions from members, and if any members wish to identify any properties for investigation, please send them to Don Holznagel, dholznag@pacifier.com, not later than January 14, or leave word at the front desk at the GFO library. Criteria are available at the front desk as well.
