We will discuss "off-site" storage of digital files, primarily focusing on places to store digital files on a "public" computer. This has a dual benefit of backing up your files, and making them available away from home, on any computer with internet access.
Have any of you ever lost files when your computer crashed? Do you wish there was a simple place you could back up those files and digital family photographs, that was away from your home, so you could retrieve them if needed and not loose them in a drawer or a stack of unsorted CD's? Well, there are LOTS of places you can store
important files, and we'll talk about some of them at the CIG on June 21st at 7 p.m. If you already use a photo sharing site, or a file storage site, bring some screen shots that we can look at, or log on to your site from a computer during the evening and share your information with us.
